Emergency Solutions

Metalworth is Nigeria’s largest distributor of safety products and safety is an integral part of everything we do.

Our safety commitment is integrated into the foundation of our business and reflects our responsibility to our customers and our team members. Like so many of the customers we serve, we believe that all accidents and environmental incidents are preventable.

We have implemented a robust and integrated Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) management system in relation to our business as a distributor of industrial, safety and fastener products. The management system is modeled after the sound principles of regulatory compliance, risk management and continual improvement found in the OHSAS 18001 and ISO14001 standards.


To ensure the products we sell are safe and meet Nigeria/international standards and regulations, we have developed a comprehensive product certification and standards compliance program. All products are reviewed and approved and each supplier is required to complete our supplier compliance documentation.

If there is any issue with a product we have a detailed recall process in place which can quickly isolate and rectify the problem.

Technical Safety Engineering & Risk Practitioners

Metalworth can provide a service of technical safety engineering services to help identify, mitigate, eliminate and/or control your project risks.

Our safety engineering services include but not limited:

• HAZOP Chairman      to Lead HAZOP and Lead Risk Assessment studies recognising the likely      initiating event and the consequences so that safeguards can be determined
• Lead and      facilitate CHAZOPS (Computer HAZOP)
• Technical      auditing, verification and validation in compliance with IEC 61508 and IEC      61511, by professional experienced engineers
• Provide a      Chairman, Lead Hazard Identification studies (HAZID).
• Provide a      Chairman, Lead Safety Integrity Level (SIL) studies to determine the      required specification for control systems by professional experienced      engineers.
